My Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday. Happy Birthday to me.

My fiance and I celebrated by going out to my absolute fav restaurant here in Philly, Buddakhan. We were also celebrating our engagement anniversary. (Yesterday was quite eventful) We marked that by going to the county offices and applying for our marriage license.

Usually I buy myself a birthday gift each year but with our upcoming nuptials, August is just a terrible month budget wise. We have so many wedding related expenses that my birthday gift will just have to wait. ;(

But if I could get myself something right now it would be one of the shirts from roselabiche. And to boot she has free shipping for the entire month of August!!! Now I really have a pouty face.

Etsy Garden Party

Well I thought I would branch out and do a little something different with my post. I usually center my posts around a particular item but this time it will be centered on a theme. We have a huge backyard and i would love to host a tented party there for family and friends. However, with our wedding soon approaching all forms of big entertaining have been put on hold. If I had my way it would be a lovely refined garden party preferably in early afternoon with table linens, cute lawn chairs, and a beautiful dessert buffet.

So here are the things on etsy that I found that would fit in so lovely with my dream party.

On the List - Sparkly Bag

So I have been over the top thrilled with my new skinny jeans I got this week from Madewell. (Call me late to the bandwagon.) As I rocked them with my white summer sweater and silver sparkle sandals, I thought how perfect it would be if I had this bag I have been eyeing to go along with it. I think this is a cute summer bag that goes so well with jeans or cute shorts.

On the List - Etsy Sweets

I should do a whole feature on the various food products listed on etsy. I have been dying to try the following items from the seller whimsyandspice. Everything looks so tasty and tempting it was hard to narrow it down to a few because I want the whole darn store!

Etsy Table

So with the ramp up in DIY projects there is just not enough desk space for both the honey and I to spread out all our stuff. I will admit that I take up a lot of room with my crafting supplies. Oh how I am lusting over this as our new office table. I would want it just a little longer and wider (something that sat at least 8) but the overall look is perfect. I think my fiance would object to the chairs but I love them.

lorimerantiques - Contemporary Parsons style farm table $1,050

(The DIY project hell I am currently in and the ramp up of Junior League activities has put the kabash on my etsy window shopping. I definitely want to catch up this week and share with you my finds.)

Tshirts

Who doesn't love the tshirt. They are so comfortable and versatile. One summer I vowed to wear nothing but tshirts and jeans when going out, in my rebellion to get back to basics. That summer I rocked not only the plain white t but also a lot of t's with quirky and funny sayings on them. I wish I had come across etsy back then so I could have snagged some of these.

And because its so Philly!!!!!
