So me and the hubby just got me a new Nikon D3000 tonight and I was commenting in the store about the lack of chic camera bags. All the camera bags in the store were so drab and boring, but I knew etsy would have a solution. (I love etsy.)

Holiday Packaging Supplies

My thoughts are starting to turn towards the holidays and what am I going to do about gift wrapping. Gift wrapping is a major thing for me. I love to wrap packages and each year I try to do something creative and different. Last year my color scheme was orange, brown, and green and I did multiple layers of wrapping paper on each gift to create pops of color and add a little more depth. This year I am trying to decide on my color theme and what supplies I would like to use. I am seriously toying with doing a more homey theme with brown paper bag wrapping, bakers twine, and layering handmade tags. But I still have time and there is so much to choose from.

2010 Calendars

I work from home full time and up until this point I have been using my digital calendar in Outlook and on my Mac. I miss the days of when I was working in a cubicle and bought multiple wall calendars as a way to dress up my little space. We do have art hanging in the home office and an every changing display of inspiration photos and notes on our magnet board, but I miss the joy of selecting an annual calendar and the pleasure of changing out images the first of each month.

Etsy Dog Clothes

The mister and I have been seriously contemplating a puppy. In fact we have narrowed down to a specific breed and are in the midst of scheduling appointments with breeders this month. It will be the first time my husband has ever owned a dog and I am looking forward to sharing the whole experience with him.

I am beginning to search out pet stuff on etsy more and more and I came across the cutest items tonight. They were just too darn cute to past up posting. The first one lets your dog be just as much a fashionista as you!

Pillows for my bedroom

We went last weekend to complete out our registry at Crate and Barrel and picked up the following bed set.

We wanted something very neutral in anticipation of purchasing a new bed with a linen upholstered head board. We figure we can dress up the bed and add color through throw pillows.
